    Scots are the best...

... in Thailand, for biscuits. Maybe.

Anyway, being a T and biscuit man, I just picked up a Walkers Scottish Biscuit Assortment; belgian plain, milk chocolate, white choc, rasberry, oakflake and heather honey.

    very nice indeed.

Men who eat biscuits are confident within their heterosexuality is all.

    Even men who eat wafers.

In that case I'd better get more of those biscuits down me to avoid these genetic pitfalls.

Well Supes you've got a point about stereotyping. For some reason most of the world regards the English as simpering homosexuals and Scots as aggressive drunks.

Any of you poofs want to go for a beer?

Scots are alright in my book, generally friendly and up for a bit of crack.

That's when I can sort out what the fok there saying.

Problem is you really have a problem having a long term friendship with them as they all seem to die young after eating all those deep fried mars bars and if they survive that its death by alcoholism.

So, anyways... the belgian choc bisuits are the worst by far. The other ones are all very nice; especially the oatmeal; simply but classic.

You are correct, marmite. 40% of the box was these Belgian choc biscuits, and they were horrible, so I won't be getting this box set again...

Yesterday, needing some more biscuits for me tea, I got 2 more packets of Walkers:

    Oakflake and Cranberry Biscuits.

    Pure Butter Almond Shortbread.

Both are bloody lovely, much better than that flash looking Xmas pack... I think I'll go and make meself a cup of tea...

Okay, time for some important biscuit talk... plus some cake-esque talk:

After much study of the Scottish biscuits, the best are: Pure Butter Almond Shortbread (about 125 baht); Oat Flake and Honey Biscuits (106 baht).

Today, at Chanchauri Sq, or whatever it's called - at the opposite end of Chula to Siam Sq (kinda between Silom and Hualumpong), I found some Dean's Biscuits, and very nice they are too. They (a small kiosk/stall by the exit close to Chula and a BBQ type restaurant; cheapish place) had a selection of 10 flavours or so, I went for: Luxury All Butter Shortbread; Praline Pecan Shortbread. They were 160 baht a packet, and very nice too...

    Other foodstufffs, I got today:

Xmas Plum pudding (from Foodland), it's another Walkers product and was about 350 baht.
Xmas Cake (from Foodland), Walkers again, about 250 baht.
Mince Pies (Walkers, about 250 baht).
Custard powder (cheap Thai brand, about 35 baht). These were all from Foodland in Silom, I didn't see them yesterday at another branch.

Tesco Tea, 60 baht for 25; English Breakfast style, cheap and cheerfull til my ebay delivery arrives.

I hope this encourages you in your Xmas shopping... It's a good and pure () reason to pop down perv st in Silom!

Oh, nearly forgot, I picket up a cheap 'orrible looking pretend Champagne from Tesco (Australian stuff, so it should be okay) at 350 baht - they had a decent selection - again at the same MRT station/shopping centre by Chula.
