The kind man asked if we would like some tea. My gov replied in the affirmative.
The Dr played mum when it was brought. Lovely pot and fine china.
I was surprised there was no milk, and it didn't look hot.
You should have seen the look on the Dr's face when I asked for a spot of milk!
Now that was one of the finest drams I've ever had.
Nothing like a wee dram of scotch! Did you get to the scotch distillery?

For the benefit of PB and her ongoing TD education:

Ceylon black tea is black tea that is grown in Sri Lanka (which was known as Ceylon before 1972). It has a crisp aroma reminiscent of citrus, and is used both unmixed and in blends. It is grown on numerous estates which vary in altitude and taste.

Of course we have a Scotsman to thank for stealing the secrets of tea from the Chinese.

Well I'd consider myself somewhat of a 'tea connaisseur' actually.

I found out that celyon tea is a black tea grown mostly in Sri Lanka.
Stands a fair chance, seeing that Ceylon was the former name of Sri Lanka...

Is that from Sri Lanka too?

90% of your posts have just gone to show what an ignorant & stupid waste of oxygen you are. Stick around, every community needs a 'village idiot'.
Something else we agree on! The expression thick as a pudding springs to mind. I was amazed she managed to spell 'chrysanthemum' - she must have cut and pasted it.

My old mum sends me Ringtons Extra Fresh tea from the UK about every 6 weeks, Delicious stuff - Home | Ringtons if you want to import some.

Last week she changed and sent me some Punjana from Belfast - that's nice stuff too.

Just been down the Jomtien supermarket and bought some Heladiv tea, price is still the same, they have some boxes of 25 at some exhorbitant price but I think they are one of those weird teas, not normal tea like in the boxes of 100.

^Nope still haven't found it,because it is so damn small. Lemongrass tea is really nice in Thailand. I was looking for some to bring back here. Is it easy enough to find?
