Was my experience last few times at Chokchai too.

For me it was smoked turkey and salad sanga and a light beer

^ I looked at the first dish and was about to ask if you're in Thailand. Then when the second one showed up so maybe not.

By the way, fried chicken looks so yummy... make me think about sticky rice with fried chicken... Oh dear... I miss Thailand.

^^ That hunk of corn on the cob in that soup is amusing...
^I hear ya, Sharon. Run down the street, get some Bt15 chicken on a stick and a Bt5 bag of sticky rice, and I'm happy. Pick a mango off the tree for dessert.
I had leftover beef stew -- nothing fancy, just beef chunks, baby carrots, celery, onions, and baby potatoes (Mathos, were you cheating again at the Albion?) in a thick broth I made in the rice cooker.

^ You got me again Jet.

    Women.

Don't miss a thing do they.

OK I have increased my exercise level.

    Extra bike rides.

Also I have a flight of stone steps in my garden 23 from bottom to the top.

Loaded small backpack (about 30 lbs) and up and down 20 times a night.

Thats 460 steps and it is hard work at my age.

So I got Flobo to make a roast up on Sunday.

    I reckoned I deserved it.

Roast lamb, a couple of small potato's. One roast. Diced carrots and turnip, a couple of parsnips roasted with the lamb. Oh yes, some broccoli.

    Delicious.

    ^ Not that bad Ned.

We had a small Aberdeenshire Roast Beef joint on Sunday.

Some carrots, brocoli, roast potato's, a spoonful of mashed, some really nice home pickled onions.

    Very tasty.

Sounds really good and tasty Patsy.

Yesterday Flobo made me a chicken salad, exceptionally tasty.

Today we were out in The Goyt Valley.

We stopped at the Cat & Fiddle Public house for lunch.

Flobo went for her fish and chips as usual.

(She really loves it when we are out especially)

    Mushy peas as well.

I settled for a couple of small pieces of braised ham, a small quantity of chips and a couple of fried eggs.

    Sunny side up.

    Tasty enough.

I finally found some perfectly ripe delicious tomato's down at the local market so made myself some ham and tomato toasted sandwiches with a nice cup of tea.

    Simplicity but hit the spot.

I'm behaving myself most days and sticking to the diet.

This was nice one day last week,
a nice ham salad, couple of Ryvita
    with Flora spread on.

I can't stick to that every day though.

today I have some leftover chicken from last night

It was cooked in a pot in the oven, slowly, with lots of spices and onions etc

I think it will make a good sandwich, plus some fruit salad to finish
