Up to 95% alcohol, or 190 poof spirits.

A Kiwi version.
Italian recipe says 190 proof spirit then dilute so that would work. Sounds similar to Caipirinha but takes longer to make.
I used to make a lemon wine, took 5 days to brew and drinkable then.
Summer fruit wines, easy to make and very refreshing with some soda water and ice.
There's a few more recipes on the web.
100 proof is difficult to achieve, but possible, as there is always some water and fusell oil. That's if you're gonna distill your own moonshine/hooch.
lots of easy recipes on the web.
Basically, crushed apples, warm water and sugar, stirred in a big bucket.
If it tastes like sweet apple juice, add 1 desert spoon of yeast/ 20 litres.
Cover and keep at 21< 27 c for 5<10 days.
Drinkable at that point on.
Bottle it then, too.
Sterilise all gear.
It'll turn to apple cider vinegar if left.
Hi ENT,
can i know where to find 95% alcohol in Bangkok. Its is for medical purpose.
I need to consume it in a very small amount
Tq
Only source I know are backyard distilleries in the countryside, and then you need to know the guy well to get him to fill some for you before he dilutes the batch for sale.
The local hooch, the one with the bird on the label, didn't work well when I tried to make umeshu. It has too much of a raw taste. Cheap off-brand vodka is filtered and tastes much better.
Not easy to get your hands on 95% alcohol here that hasn't been denatured.
Our local distillery can provide. 900 Thb for a 5 gallon jug. they'll want the jug back and you have to cover delivery.
All good.

That's very cheap, or do you mean 5 liters?
I've honestly not read the recipes, but from my humble experience nothing good comes with 190 proof alcohol. Anything that can remove fingernail polish shouldn't be consumed.....Originally Posted by crackerjack101
Chemistry/Scientific Supply Store. Ask for pharmaceutical grade ethyl alcohol. Ask several times to make sure it's not denatured alcohol. I've bought from the science supplies store near Chang Puak gate in Chiang Mai and used it to make Yaa Dong. I'm sure there are several lab supplies stores in Bangkok that would be happy to sell you a bottle or two.

You nutter......Thats a fukkin wheelbarrow
Not grain, but sugar-based distilled local hooch is quite nice, potent, and smooth.
Longer it sits - better it is.
Give it a go.
I thought they'd be some around where I live but in 11years I've never heard of any being being made or available. They're more into Yabba than booze around here, it's cheaper.Originally Posted by stroller
