I'm not sure there is one 'right' way. YouTube is full of conflicting advice.

I water mine every day in this dry weather, early morning so they'll dry in the daytime. I do mist the aerial roots, not the leaves or flowers. Probably I could take better care of them. I haven't lost any yet and several of them have flowered a second time.
