^Nice, yea they are everywhere at the moment. What are the white ones called anyone? always lurking inbetween and around the bluebells...whitebells?...wait for it, they are in fact fucking albino bluebells, well shit in a bag and punch it, I never!

The other white similar looking bud you will see around is actually part of wild garlic, which, can be used to make a bloody nice pesto
One should listen twice as much as one speaks

Not our own garden, daughter home last night with bags of mangosteen picked yesterday afternoon, first of the season; a change from the varying types of durian she's been bringing me

I really like mangosteen but have learnt never to eat it if wearing a half decent shirt. The slightest bit of juice causes brown stains that will never come out.

We've had a lot of rain lately in Korat which has brought out all the frogs and centipedes... and this bugger which somehow made it into the house. I had an early night in preparation for the England game the other night and was awoken by the daughter screaming around 10pm. It was swept up in a dust pan and brush and deposited over the wall into the dog killer neighbour's garden.

With the frogs, out come the snakes. On the dog walk this morning we saw this young Burmese python which hadn't made it across the road during the night. This is the first evidence of a python around these parts that I've seen for many years, but I guess it's parents must be around somewhere.

The joys of living in a country where wild animals remain eh.

My Thai father in law has a farm in the mountains. He built a smal shed with an upper sleeping area, where he used to stay in. We were working up there and stayed overnight.

Early in the morning he awoke to find some elephants sniffing around. He told us to keep quiet and started to bang some pots and pans which luckily drove them off.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
