I have hunted and fished all my life before I came to Thailand and came to love the forests. Now I do all my hunting with a camera and try to get into the forests as often as possible. Thailand has some great forests and some wonderful birdlife with over 1000 species recorded. I would like to post photos of some of the birds I have been lucky enough to get to pose for my cameras.

If anyone else has any wild bird photos I would love to see them so please join in and post them.

Black-shouldered Kite, probably the most common bird of prey in Thailand, taken at Singburi.

Blue-winged Pita a bird of the forest floor. Taken at Hellfire Pass.

Hainan Blue Flycatcher a small bird of the forest understory that migrates north for the northern summer. Taken at Phu Kae Botanical Gardens Lop Buri.
