Lotus on the River Kwai- well nice.
nice shot, just level it and looks much nicer on the eye
Great, a smell-o-rama web forum.
I was up early (late, actually) this morning. took my camera to the mini mart to buy some smokes. I have no idea what these are. Flowers look so nice after a light early morning rain.
A few steps further down the road...
And somewhere in between:
And this interesting thing is in a pot set in front of the homestead spirit house alngside wilted dead flowers, few crumbs of sticky rice and small glass with dfanta daeng so dried with age the rain water filling the glass has no affect. I hope the old lady that cute flowers for the spirits doesn't decide to cut these and stick ni the vase right next to the pot.
This orchid is about three years old. It blooms all year, but is especially productive during the cold season.
Here is a strange old thing that we found growing next door, by the fence.
The Orange, hairy, blooms are sweet tasting but the rest is poisonous. I would love to know what it is called.

Hi
The plant you are asking about looks very similar to Leonotis Nepetifolia!Hope that helps!
^ Thanks for the info - haven't seen that before.
More info on it. Common name is Klip Dagga or Lions ear. An annual plant which can grow to the height of 7 feet or more. The dried foliage has phychoactive properties when smoked, and the flowers can be used as a calming tea. The flowers are said to be very attractive to humming birds.
I can't find any reference as to it being poisonousOriginally Posted by Loombucket

Still can't green you Props, I'm spreading it all over the place but my eyes are going square.
I have no doubt that this is a weed as it is growing amongst many on my land, still, they look quite nice and thats what matters
^a weed is only a flower in the wrong place
I really love most of the pics, very cool
