Disabled rights campaigner Lord Ashley of Stoke has died aged 89.
The former Labour MP for Stoke-on-Trent died on Friday night after a short battle with pneumonia, his family said.

Labour leader Ed Miliband described him as "an extraordinary campaigner for equal rights for people with disabilities".
BBC presenter Andrew Marr, who is married to the peer's columnist daughter Jackie Ashley, said he had also won major victories "for the victims of the drug Thalidomide, for victims of Army bullying, and for victims of domestic violence".
Jane Ashley paid tribute to her father via Twitter saying: "RIP Dad - my wonderful father, Jack Ashley, Lord Ashley of Stoke, who was so loved and inspired so many people."

The US Secret Service has said three more employees are resigning over the prostitution scandal that overshadowed a summit in Colombia last weekend.
Supervisors David Chaney and Greg Stokes are among three agents already leaving the elite agency in the wake of the affair.
US President Barack Obama was briefed on Friday by Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan about the scandal.
It broke as the president arrived for last weekend's Summit of the Americas.
On Friday, a 12th Secret Service employee was placed on administrative leave.
Another member of staff at the agency was cleared by investigators of "serious misconduct", but will face administrative action.
The scandal broke when a dispute between an escort and an agent spilled into the hallway of a beachfront hotel.

Netherlands train crash: Scores injured in Amsterdam
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2012/04/1828.jpg
About 125 people have been injured, at least 13 of them seriously, when two passenger trains collided in the Amsterdam area, Dutch officials say.
They say the accident happened near Sloterdijk, to the west of the capital.
Neither train was derailed, and footage from the scene appeared to show minor damage.
The injured were taken to hospital by ambulance. It was not immediately known what caused the head-on collision on Saturday evening.
The crash involving an inter-city train and a local stopping service happened at about 18:30 local time (16:30 GMT).
"We assume many people were thrown around the train by the crash: against walls, seats and other people," police spokesman Ed Kraszewski told Amsterdam's AT5 news station.
He added that some of the victims had broken bones and also sustained neck injuries.
All the passengers were later helped out of the carriages.

Lib Dem donor Michael Brown 'extradited to UK'
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2012/04/1831.jpg
Convicted fraudster and former Lib Dem donor Michael Brown is being extradited from the Dominican Republic and will be returned to the UK, local police say.
They said he was being flown to Spain and would be handed to UK officials.
In 2008 Brown, who had gone on the run to the Dominican Republic from the UK, was jailed in his absence for seven years for stealing £36m from clients after posing as a bond dealer.
Brown, 46, donated £2.4m to the Lib Dems before the 2005 General Election.
Local police said the Briton had been living on the Caribbean island under the name of Darren Nally before his arrest in January.
Brown went on the run, sparking an international manhunt, after stealing millions from clients, including nearly £8m from Manchester United's ex-chairman Martin Edwards.
He had posed as a highly successful bond dealer and claimed connections with royalty.
