Mmm, had a light day myself today. Let's see:

Breakfast - cereals and fruit I already had in the house, so zero
Lunch - bread and ham I bought yesterday, so zero
Dinner - 140 Baht at my local restaurant
    Newspaper - 25 Baht
Food for the dogs - 26 Baht
    Internet card - 179 Baht

    Grand Total: 370 Baht

(Good job you didn't ask about yesterday ).

just gave my g/f 1500 baht to pay for the vet as her cat just lost 3 out of 4 kittens, big op and then nuetered. then took her to a seafood restaurant to cheer her up, cus i'm nice that way. tom yam, crispy fish, lots of beer etc. 480 baht, so close on 2000! even saved a bit of fish for the cat.
never mind, i'm on my holidays.

It seems I will pay nothing for today because I'm at work.

No breakfast, free lunch and I think some friends will take me for dinner. What a good life.

Don't let them see the pics of your last night's meal; they'll probably make you cook again.

I bought a Versace silk shirt, tie and jacket at the weekend.

Poncy ones , with gilded wigglies all over them

I look like a wedding cake at a gay marriage.

Il faut souffrir pour etre belle.

By the way, Blake, you need to stop doing that funny thing with your face - when you pull down the corners of your mouth. Its becoming like a tic. I just want to let you know as one mate to another. Its becoming more noticeable. I used to have a strange spazzy facial tic when I was younger and was stressed out when my parents were divorcing.

That's because The People's Champ once claimed I looked like Hugh Grant. Obvious I felt extremely flattered to receive such praise from such an icon but when I got home and looked in the mirror I couldn't make the connection. I am therefore practicing silly upper-class English facial expressions in an attempt to live up to the Champ's expectations.

By the way do you still wear socks and sandals in HK?

"By the way do you still wear socks and sandals in HK?"

Left the sandals behind. One has to wear socks with them in Bkk for dog poop reasons.

I notice that when you've had a few drinks the tic goes away. You know the one I mean don't you. Yes, it is a Hugh Grant-ish thing - and accompanied with a shrug...eg

GOTM "What about the People's Champ?"

Blake (shrugging) "Still drifting" (pulls corners of mouth down)

    GOTM "Any news from Butterfly?"

Blake (pulls corner of mouth down) " Barfines girls these days" (shrugs)"
