My moan... well a daily cheer as well but couldn't be arsed finding that thread...
The daughter's school and its woke lgbtqfc++ staff.
All parents got an email from the school yhe other day, saying from September girls will have to wear trousers and will no longer be able to wear skirts to school, also the PE kit will be a new gender neutral one instead of the current boys and girls one.
All because they are proud of their 'School Inclusion Score' for 2022-2023.
The next day after the letter was sent out, I got a phone call at 10.30 am from my daughter asking to be picked up as the school had to call the police in, who recommended to close the place due to the students protesting:)
They've since sent another letter out saying they are rethinking their uniform policy.
Fucking nobs
Its been happening nationwide and so have the protests - its what you get when liberals and lefties have taken over adult occupations.
The fukin idiots are banning kids from using the toilet during class time and issuing them red cards to indicate the girls are having a period and are excused from the no toilet during class rule.
you genuinely cannot make it up.
I have to say Dil, I have had it with all that Bullshit and the mental defects wanting the world to accept them. I say do like Escape from NY movie and put them all in one state, build electric walls and let them all live their Gender confusion and other crap. Girls with dicks, guys with Vaginas. They can all wear rainbow crap and hold hands and sing flower songs
Fkn maggots.
I have another moan about UK schools.
Teachers promoting their subject options without consideration for the students ability in that subject hence lower UCAS points and limited future University options.
My daughter really wanted to take A level physics but was informed that the rules are that you must also take maths.
Her GCSE maths results were good but she really struggled with the subject and has been given a predicated grade of E at Alevel in the subject .
Even though she will gain excellent grades in her other two subjects this will massively impact her Ucas options.
It's all about the Ucas Points and not the difficulty of the subjects apparently.
So now shei is in a dilemma about what to do.
Its ruddy annoying as she is a really bright, intelligent young woman.
If you get 3 x AAA then you can in easier subjects then a decent university and egree course is guaranteed .
No consideration is given for lesser grades in harder subjects.
It's all about the UCAS points!
Worth bearing in my mind if you have a child deciding GCSE choices in the UK.
^ tell her to forget Uni and think about apprenticeships - save a shit load, no debt burden for a chunk of her adult life, start earning straight away and if she goes into some Eng or Tech trade the earnings potential is fantastic with qualifications paid for her.
oh and depending on the company the pension and share schemes are also a great add on.
Food for thought, cheers.
Depending on what she wants to do with sciences, its quite likely these days with A Levels and going into a eng or tech job that going the apprentice route will mean after 2-3 years she'll be at a similar level to someone entering with a degree but she'll have gained the experience which will put her ahead. If she does it make sure to do your homework on the apprenticeships - some are excellent with blue chip companies, some not so much.
edit my daughter changed her mind and went the apprentice route and she's on over £65k in her mid 20s.
You need a good understanding of maths to study any of the branches of physics to a graduate level.
...But she would need Maths.
It is a prerequisite for any of the engineering and sciences for university.
I would find out what maths subjects she is struggling with and get her extra tuition in these. Actually, some of the You tube lessons in some subjects are excellent to get a better understanding. For example, I watched an excellent one explaining fourier. and another giving a good explanation of calculus. You need both to survive uni!
Private fucking car parks on pub forecourts.
I went and met an old mate in Brum the other Sunday, went the boozer for an hour, bought us both a Carvery, that was 30 quid with a couple of pints. Then today received this.

How the fuck can they justify that for an hours parking on the bastard Sabbath?
So I rang the boozer in question and mentioned that I didn't see any of these 'clearly marked signs' it mentioned on the letter.
The woman's reply "There's about 8 of them and one flashing one before you enter the pub"
So I replied I don't look at signs in pub car parks and just before I was about to give her a round of fucks and mention how small the fucking plates were at that carvery and what a kunt the guy doing the carving was, who wouldn't even give me a fucking sausage that he said were extras, even though they'd ran out of beef, of which I photo'd at the time and was gonna leave them a terrible review on google maps...
https://i.imgur.com/hI0CykO.jpg
(That's the miserable snag hogging kunt and the tray with no beef, my tiny plate next to him and the sausages were to the right, out of shot)
...she said really nicely "pop in with the letter and we'll sort it out for you"
Once again this is another cheer at the end really...and this time about hood old Norverners:)
^ That's what happens when you block a pub carpark with a bus.
There's a Sainsbury's near my mum that has a Pay and Display carpark. I never pay on point of principle which is stupid really because the girl on check-out reimburses your parking fee if you present the receipt.
These decent apprenticeships are difficult to obtain unless you go into the forces or have a BAE on your doorstep.
The way I see it now is.
Her grades dramatically improve
She does a foundation year
She has a really good part time job which could go full time but with limited opportunities in the future.
She does have a tik tok account with over 5Ok followers and millions of likes in the last year:)
Maybe I'm thinking too much and should just let her get on with it.
I was 2 days away from jumping on the bus to begin an apprenticeship in the Highlanders down at Catterick Barracks when I was offered an apprenticeship locally with Baker Hughes.
That was a life changing decision and to this day I regret not going to the Army.
Sorry I can't edit my posts in here for some reason???
My caddie was 14 years old and didn't seem to speak Thai or English.
Bought her a water and an OJ, didn't take a single sip of either.
Gave her a 500b tip and didn't even clean my shoes.
My mate shagged his one tho.
