Shook my bed but I didn’t realize it was an earthquake until now. I thought I dreamed it.

Epicentre was Doi Saket, apparently.
Woke us up in downtown Cebu.
Ran in to see that the kid and kid's bedroom still existed. Both seemed unaffected.
I had to use toilet paper today - the first time in about five years. My poor little bum isn't used to that kind of roughness anymore. Damn those Thai malls that don't have bum guns in their toilets.
^ Get yerself to T21 Nev. Automated bum guns, temp controlled, air dryer etc. It was the best 10 minutes I've had in ages. Yeah, tissues provided as well.
I was there all afternoon yesterday.
^ I was in there briefly today, Mendip, but then went on to Central for lunch. Unfortunately the need arose shortly after lunch. I couldn't wait to go anywhere else.
IIRC, the toilets in T21 are Japanese style toilets. I think I've used them once. Interesting, but 10 minutes seems a long time to use them, Mendip. Either you're not getting enough fiber in your diet or you've been watching too much Japanese porn. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time, mate.
^ Nah, my fibre is good Nev, check out my diner pics!
So, how much is 'too' much Japanese porn, I wonder?
If you're spending all afternoon in the shitter banging one out then I'd say that's too much!
What happens in T21 stays in T21
I drove all the way down to Hang Dong this morning to get my driver’s license. They were closed. It’s a holiday.
Got pissed all weekend and made enough plans to fill up the coming week. Golf, Go-Karts, Cinema, lay a hash run...
...woke up to a text from work, back in the yard tomorrow.
What fecking idiot decide to put all these inside clothes the make itch.
Check and verify, prior to visiting any Thai government office.
"Hours:Closed
Opens 8:30AM Tue
Chulalongkorn Memorial Day (Observed) might affect these hours"
^ That’s a moan. The sweatshops sewing the labels into the seams so you can’t just clip them out. You have to cut the label close to the seam.
I went back down to Hang Dong again today to apply for a Thai driver’s license. They gave me an appointment to come back in a month. Said they are really far behind. At least I was told they would give me a five year license since I had my expired 5 year one.
AND, the driver’s test is online now.
If you want a licence earlier than that, you could try a different test centre.
For some people, that can be a challenge. The last time I did mine, only two of us out of five passed (I was the only foreigner). The others failed and were told to come back the next day and try again. My advice would be to go in and practice on the test computers (they had one outside the test room to practise on where I went). I also advise taking photos or a video while you do it so you can then practise/review at home. Some of the answers are not what you would think they would be - some of them involve thinking in a Thai way.
