I wouldn't mind an old side by side 12 bore like my daddys .... Surely you don't need a permit for that .... Pest control and all

I once took one of these in trade. never got to fire it though. Rounds were hard to come by. Didn't travel well either.
Hello everyone, Im new just reg; first thing I read, guns and shooting. Your all mental. My kind of people..
I got a mossburge (dont hold me too spelling) pumpaction holds 8 an one in chamber. The barrel customed, takes a magnum 3 cart throw a magnesium tracer cart between rounds, what you dont destroy scare's the sh** out of em!!! Think I may have a problem with getting it in the country? anyway sorry for interferance
They banned 8 shot pump action shotguns in the UK years ago, the funny thing was the first practical shotgun in the UK, when they were allowed, was won by a block with a sie by side 12 bore
True, true. It sits locked away an forgotten. Never had the heart to hand it in.
A freind of mine, in the UK, has got a dodgy 8 shot pump action 4.10.
The only legal pumps now are three shot .... not really worth it apart from that noise
I don't think I'd have a use in Thailand for my winchester model 70 375h&h!
Hunting wild game is perhaps the only thing I really miss here.
Not counting the wild game on Bangla rd!
Anyone been to the Pattaya shooting club? its so cool. It was quiet when i went so they gave me a discount on rounds and i was there for ages shooting at the targets.
Pattaya has about 10 shooting ranges now, occasionally, and I mean extremely occasionally I take my galfriend and son so they can have a few shots at the targets, although I have to admit that their lack of safety standards does worry me a bit.
What kinds of limitations are there on ownership? Automatic, semi-automatic, 75 round drums for your AK-47?
You should have a license to own, nothing bigger than .38 or 9mm is allowed, no fully auto weapons allowed, capacity of clips is irrelevant but on your license it will state how many bullets you are allowed to own, ie a 6 shot revolver you will generally be allowed to own 12 bullets, obviously when you go down to the gun shop they just ask how many boxes of 50 do you want.
Ah, so, rifles would be out of the question (like an SKS or something equivalent)? Or, what they won't know won't hurt them
an aussie with a gun , call him SIR
Shit the last thing I want is some rednecked falang running around toting a gun.
(Useually the same people who moan about crime rates back home and go on and on and on about how low crime is in Thailand).
If refusing farangs the right to have a gun discourages only one redneck from coming to Thailand then I say NO GUNS FOR FARANGS.
But I earned the right to...
...oh, nevermind, different thread
So it is "rednecks" who are mostly responsible for gun violence where the guns are available?
Where pray tell did you retrieve that fact?
Or are you just displaying your personal irrational bigotry?
Thailand has it's fair share of gun violence already, by thai people mostly.

I got a pistol cross bow that would kill a man at 50 paces. I can get a Musket no probs here but really want a pistol for home. Tried getting a gun licence for FIL but they knocked us back. But now with the family running the area I think we could get one
