Bangkok lawyer for making a Will?

Can anyone recommend a law firm in Bangkok Sukhumvit area to create a will for me?

I know I could do it myself, but I want to make sure the will is bona fide and irrefutable.

    Thanks

The best lawyer in Thailand: Kem Kang and his team, but he might be overkill for a will.

I'd get an lawyer familiar with both Thai and foreign inheritance laws.

Siam Legal. Though cost on the high side but they will do a expert job.

Funnily enough, I am in the process of drawing up a will here. It seem that if you are over the age of 60, you need to have a doctors certificate that you are "of sound mind and body". Sounds simple right?

It is not. One hospital point blank refused, and told me to see my regular doctor. For various reasons I do see a neurologist, so asked him. No can do. I have to see a forensic neurologist, and get a full work up. Gonna cost me 30K baht.

Isn’t a hand written will valid here?

Apparently yes- if you are under 60. Then write and get two witnesses. My lawyer said as someone over 60 I need the doc letter, to make sure it is fully legal.

I just took a peek online about “elderly” persons writing a will. There is no set age. The medical certificate is just attached to the will in case your competency is challenged in the future.

That sounds like a 30k scam.

Sounds like Nid is contemplating circling vultures upon his death.

My husband didn’t leave a will. It’s all having to work its way through family court in Japan. It’s me vs. my sister in law. Sigh.
