I just answered honestly. My job is not to be a Thai lawyer at our office. I want to learn more about it, get as much knowledge in Thai as I can, but I will never be a Thai lawyer unless the law changes or I become a Thai national! (In Canada, it was the same before a famous case called Andrews in 1989 where citizenship was a requirement to be a lawyer in British Columbia. It was considered a non-justified discrimination)

Supreme Court of Canada - Decisions - Andrews v. Law Society of British Columbia

We work as a team at our office. We each have our specialities. We have a business partner director of the Thai chamber of commerce, a notary, a legal director, few young lawyers, accountants, and me, the foreign monkey. But the foreign monkey has experience with foreign clients, with some foreign laws, (I worked in International penal Law for the International Criminal Tribunal of Rwanda, worked on cases in Venezuela, USA, involving extradition, transfer of prisoners, adoption, inheritance, etc.). I also lived 2 years in China and start to know a little about asian life!!!
