Even if you get a judgement in your favor, pretty clear you'll never get paid.

Take the 15 grand loss and mark it up as lesson learned.

I was able to walk off 130k EUR, even though it was painful in the beginning, I never felt more happy about it once my US lawyer told me what to expect

555 wow a wise lawyer...went through a court battle here for similar amount...took a year+ and a lot of frustration and heartache..eventually got 50k out of 300k...cost 25k lawyer fees and christ knows how much in diesel and time...all for less than 20k...!! Brilliant hugh?..should have just gone on vacation and got drunk!

I will peruse him if, an when he gets out an see if he had a Revelation while siting in jail an wants to make good on his lies (dont expect much but...stranger things have happened) :-)

Albert; if he had a lot of money he would nt be sititng in jail.


I also turned off all his agoda, bookings,com accounts so no sales would go thru and got access to his email accounts and the resort in Bali has been shut down, he didn't pay staff and they stripped the place in leu of salaries. Have been in touch wiht his son and the secretary there . So although i feel i was ripped off i have stopped all sources for him to make any income off of the resort.

Lesson learned, dont trust anyone :-) Terrible way to live but ......

He is still siting in jail as cant make bail, 1st court case is mid june

I am still hopeful he had an awakening an wants to clear his conscious but ...
Guess will have to settle that he sits / sleeps in a room with 40 unwashed bodies each and every day

getting? This has been the hottest and longest dry spell i have seen in Phuket in a long time

OP, you could go to Phuket jail and donate some extra food/vitamins etc to someone with nothing, say an older guy. Making sure that the conman gets to know about it.
