Thread: Big C or Macro

Just bought a black and decker jigsaw ,, Didnt want to spend to much money on this as it most probably will only be used this time on a small job i am doing ,, Looked around and the cheapest was 650 Bht to the dearest was anything above 5,000 bht ,, I had seen a Black and Decker jigsaw in Big C ,, the price 1,595 Bht .. before buying i went to Macro a few blocks down the road ,, the same jigsaw was 1,390 Bht ,, A saving of 205 Bht , better in my pocket than theirs

I recon both those stores are tops for buying stuff and when ever I see one I'm drawn in.

Pick the eyes out of the joint and one can pull in some screaming bargains, also the eye candy is often horn cracking and thats another all round top reason to pop in.

Win Win situation one could say.

^^ Tesco. Even cheaper from what I've seen.

No Tesco in Buriram so have to chose between Big C and Makro. Buy bulk stuff in Makro like nappies, milk, beer, chicken bones and intestines for the dogs. Big C is good for ChokChai farm milk, and snacks like ready made noodles, chicken portions.
The fanny is decent in both if in flirting mode, but then again it's horny everywhere around here. Difficult to walk upright sometimes.

Makro has a lot of good/cheap stuff, but I wouldn't buy electric/electronic products/white goods from them; very poor (none?) aftersales service. Having said that, I got a Mitubishi aircon from Makro and had no probs - if problems come then I'll have to deal with the manufacturer; Tesco/Big C/French bastardoses give you an extra barrier that Makro don't...

Hand tools from both Big C and Macro seem to carry no warranty whatsoever.

Tesco has replaced a faulty item for me.

Tend to agree with his comment. Not sure about Big C, but I've found (sorry to say this) the French bastardoses very good for electrical/electronic items.
