Adjust roof gutters for tile to sheet roof?

I started this project around 6 months ago, and one of the first things was to get new guttering in.

After that I decided to change the roof tiles to metal aluzinc sheets with PU Foam insulation.

That's almost finished but the contractor says that the guttering probably needs to be moved or replaced because of the difference.

    And he knows a man.

Apparently the rain may over flow over the edge of the gutters, not too big an issue, as long as 80% goes down the drain pipes in my book. But also, could overflow on the inside, which obviously would be an issue.

I'll climb up and take a photo later today or tomorrow when they're not busy on it.

Sounds legit, or sounds like he's trying to pull a Lulu and contract out some extra work that isn't needed?

The project = renovating a house.

The roof and gutters are 14 meters long.

^what colour did you finally choose for your roof? Apologies if you mentioned it in another thread, since I don't follow all your threads.

Btw, have you turned into American? You spelled meters, not metres!

I went for a nice shade of brown, which will perfectly match the surrounding hills and mountains for at least 9 months of the year.

    ^yeehaw! That's freakin' awesome, dude!

Btw, I thought you agreed that light coloured roofs retain less heat. But well, you've got A/C!

As it's got double insulation, PU Foam on the roof sheets plus ceiling batts on top of the ceilings, I listened to some bloke on the internet that I don't know, using terminology I didn't understand, to come to the conclusion that the paint colour on the roof sheeting was pretty much inseconseqe..... wouldn't really matter.
