Yeah. I was trying to say to the staff that there's "always" some tiling/painting/small water work that "comes" with a kitchen installation, not just the furniture assembly and wall mounting. However, we had some traditional thai confusion when I said that - and I came out of the meeting somewhat less confident.
What I'm trying to say is, I would rather pay up to the contractor Ikea is using if they would do "everything".
Perhaps make an offer when they're here assembling the kitchen...
I'm sure your units will come with full fitting instructions. Good luck.
How to get IKEA assembly instructions?
How it works
- Search for your product at the top of the page and go to your product's page.
- Scroll down the product information page and click product details. A pop-up will open with a link to Assembly & other documents.
- Click Assembly & other documents to open tab. The product assembly instructions will be listed.

I would select tradesman by personal recommendation over price or availability, the good ones are always busy the cowboys can always start immediately and if your own home cause more damage to tiles, electrics. Good tradesman cost more up front but then you get quality.
Good luck post up the resulting photos
