Thread: Adding a room downstairs

Most of of the downstairs is open, With a bathroom, an outside kitchen, and a hung out area by the goldfish pond. The whole downstairs is going to be my Man Cave.

At the later part of the build, I had to get back to work at a project I was supervising in NYC and put our a fire, so I gave the builder instructions not to finish dressing the columns at the back right corner of the house, because eventually I was going to build a room there myself. I know, I should had let the builder do it when he was there, but I wanted to leave a little work for myself so I can play Thai builder .
Anyway when I came back, they had dressed all the columns.
So now that I want to build the room, I have to knock down the dressing, so that I can tie the new walls into the columns. And by I, I mean the guys I pay LOL
