Does anyone know where you can buy this sort of bolt down anchor for securing wooden posts onto concrete in Thailand?
or does anyone know of another type of product that does the same kind of thing because I haven't been able to find these so far.

why not have them made? Even in the States, we would make our own. Should be quite cheap to have fabbed
I have never seen that type in LOS.
They just use a simple L bracket bolted to the floor and screwed to the post.
What you haved pictured could be fabricated for you in any metal shop
any idea of cost? the one pictured about costs about 4 quid = about 300 baht and it would fit a 2" post
Dunno how much steel costs, labor's cheap but varies; figure 24 sq in. of 1/8" plate (per piece), got out of 4"flat bar. four punched holes and two 2" welds, 10 - 20 min setup time, two and half minutes per piece.
how many you want?

16 for the base and 32 for the post holder
You could probaly buy square section steel for the post holder bit and just weld a base on it
two 2x2" vertical pieces no need for more than 2x2" or more than two pieces. I would nlt attempt to make a boxed receiver simply because there is no need and the added complexity would more than double (maybe close to triple?) the cost of the item.
using my estimate, I can use one piece of 1/8x4" FB get out the 4x4 base, getting out the bracket pieces could be done with the same piece or a 1/8x2 FB if the builder wanted a longer pice the 2" would be the way to go.
to build the pictured piece exactly would entail bends (or the use of 2" receiver tube split, much more welding as well as the clamp bolt setup. Using to flanges punched for a 1/4" bolt and through bolting the wood post/flanges would make a simpler and much cheaper stand.
Just a bit of unexplained redesign![]()
^ You cheated. You changed the design.![]()
OK. I will stick with my 4inch L bracket which is all they use up here.
No welding and only two holes...9 baht
