For advertisers it is uniques per month and pages served, for website owners pages per visit is an important one, ie if 80 percent visit and only view one page, it has either answered their question or is wrongly targeted.

^Looks like alexa stats, not the most accurate in the world, that 398 I could change to under 200 within 2 weeks.
