Working fine here, Bangers..

Thanks STS
Strange that. Not being very enlightened on computers I figure it can only be one of 3 things :
1) Fault on my computer ( already done a restore though )
2) ISP fault.
3) Site problem.
Ah well, I'll give it until tomorrow and then apply my trusty sledgehammer to it. Shit or bust .![]()

I had a problem with youtube too, I changed the browser and now all seems to be ok. Im now using Google Chrome.
Still haven't found the reason why it wont work through IE but I much prefer google chrome now.

I'll try that because its still not working, although, it still works with videos embedded in TD threads ?
I have a feeling that the last Adobe update has thrown a spanner in the works though since now that I think of it, the problem started then and I have been unsuccessful in restoring things back to the way they were.

Well Satonic , you were right. Downloaded Google chrome and it works fine as you say.....now I just need to find out why and what went wrong before although I vaguely remember you tube saying this would happen.

Glad you got it sorted mate, but finding the original problem is something I have given up on.
Sometimes I'm convinced my computer has a mind of its own and just decides that for some reason on certain days its gonna act like my wife and refuse to do anything I ask from it![]()

You can get your computer re-formatted for about 200 THB at pantip or other repair shops. They'll give the machine a good clean inside too. Always done a good job in my experience. Just back your files up and do that when in trouble.

No , everything was roses until the Adobe update then a few things started to go wrong. Firstly, youtube wouldn't work and secondly , Real player could no longer copy videos to hard drive. The google chrome fix will do since I can't get things to restore to pre Adobe update.

Yes, I thought a system restore would work but it didn't depite several attempts.
As for adobe .... using Adobe Reader 8.2.6 plus adobe flash player. Never been a problem before and my motto is if it 'aint fucked don't fix it.
Anyway , sort of sorted now and gonna let it rest with google chrome.
Get rid of Adobe. All you needs is the Browser extension.
For a PDF reader, try PDF XChange or Foxit Reader. Faster, leaner, and less prone to fucking you about (and you can remove that Adobe updater from your Startup).
