Prior to finding out that DTAC have t'internet on prepaid cards, I happened to be stuck in the airport on my way back from Australia, and obviously had to keep an eye on the Ashes score, so I went to Sky's quite compact PDA site and refreshed the page a number of times.

I've just got my bill, and it in fact added up to 2Mb, which is probably about right for the amount of data I used.

Here's the kicker - it worked out at Bt800 per megabyte. Now granted I'm on a middle east carrier, but I don't think that's actually abnormal, hence most Android phones turning off Data roaming by default.

So a word to the wise - make sure you don't leave your roaming switched on when travelling, especially with all those widgets and gadgets running in the background.

You could be in for a nasty surprise, especially if you use it unchecked!
