I'm not sure if it was ever posted here (Daffy would have gone off on one), but some pesky Chinese chaps created the Apple Peel, a little gadget designed to turn an iPod into an iPhone:

Well it seems Steve the Ninja, fresh from having his Ninja stars confiscated and thus unable to take them out the way he wanted, has now resorted to the legal beagles, and has submitted a patent for yet another Apple "accessory" that will do the same thing.

Apple Patent Looks Similar To What The Apple Peel 520 Accessory Already Does?

Funny how the Android tablets are only there because Apple are so f---ing wonderful, yet when someone else comes along with a good idea, it would seem Apple are more than capable of jumping on someone else's bandwagon.

I think it's more about buying a working i"Phone" for a lot less than an iPhone, if you know what I mean.
