Aches and pains from using netbook?

I use a netbook the majority of the time - a Samsung NC10 - and have started to develop wrist pains to the point that i have to drive one handed from time to time. I can also hear my wrist click when i move it around. Using the netbook is the only thing that could have caused it i think.

Anyone have similar problems are am i getting arthritis?

For sale if anyone is interested as i'm going back to a lapdog.

^ Why? Doesn't it promote gayness?

I've no experience with the ipad but i don't see it as being very practical as i do a lot of typing.

I review and send reports on engineering equipment so i think a standard lapdog might suit me better.

If you are doing a lot of typing there is no substitute for a decent keyboard.

I have the Asus eee which is 93% of a full keyboard and I don't have any of the symptoms you do.

How people can use the little seven inchers I'll never know (fnar fnar).

Fnar Fnar indeed - my seven inches works just fine.

I too have an Asus eee, and have done a lot of typing without too much problem.

As a thought, why not buy a full size usb keyboard for the serious typing ??? I've seen ones that you can fold up highlighted in computer magazines

Also, what are you doing differently to using a normal laptop or keyboard - this sounds like typical RSI, hand positioning is important (yeah, I know) to minimise this.
