I have a new iPhone 3G with iOS 4.01 and it's great,
but I came to realize that it's actually anything but a phone, it's simply a mini-computer that is paired with a mobile SIM. Things I didn't imagine I would need before are making a lot of sense now, and I guess the iPhone delivers on that front. I see it as a portable appliance, not a phone. In that regard, the iPad could be seen as a portable appliance but with a bigger screen and for certain business apps the iPad would make a lot of sense, like following your stock trading, or watching Bloomberg TV online while performing trade operations.
There are still a few dysfunctionalities in true apple style, strange menu, strange key sequence to do a simple task, illogic display and some clumsiness in the UI you find on all apple products.
Others than that, I highly recommend anyone who is doing a lot of shit online to buy one.
Quack Quack would be proud![]()
