    I want a website

I want a website where people can upload and download photos so what would i need? I realize there would be some legal implications with regards to the rights of the images etc but the person uploading would be take responsibility.

I would require a site that i can modify. I have used and made a joomla site before but i'd like one to be ready and running for me to modify.

What's the cost roughly and what do you recommend?

you need a domain name and a hosting company, most hosting packages include some sort of gallery or you can install one.

costs are dependant on the amount of bandwidth/ disk space you buy.
there are some quite cheap companys in thailand.

Domain Names, Web Hosting and SSL Certificates - Go Daddy for domain
    Justhost.com for website hosting
They have several options for different image galleries.

Wow, that's the kind of request that makes web designers run for the hills, or turn off their phones.

Or put a 0 on the end of their free and ask for payment in advance.

Pretty easy actually. If you are not good in coding, you can use 3rd party web to host your website. They are free. Try freewebs.com.
