How to resize photos in Windows Vista photo gallery

Can any techie person give me an idiots guide how to resize photos to an acceptable TD posting size using Windows Vista photo gallery.

The last time I resized a photo was on my old work computer which was running Windows XP and there was an easy to follow function that came up when you called up the photo but I am [at]#*!ed if I can figure out how to do it on Vista.

    Thanks

Just use PixResizer - it's free and it's good.

I use picture manager, not sure iif it's from windows 7 or Office 2007, only just discovered it. Real easy to resize a whole bunch at the same time using the shrink by % function. Maybe it's the same for Vista......

Right click on any photo and 'open with' microsoft picture manager. You can then do all the pictures in the same folder at the same tme.

I got my camera set at 3 megapixels and shrunk to 40% of original size for this thread https://teakdoor.com/laos-forum/74565-rr-in-vv.html

    IrfanView - Its free.

IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

normally pics 600x800 is fine. not to small and not large either. Just take a look at some of these photos on here, and click and save the pic to find the size if you're wondering
