How do I clear cookies from my web surfing

I know it's simple, but I forgot. I am quite ignorant in these matters.

If someone responds with the answer, I'll copy and save it.

I wan to erase the cookies on my computer, so a forum (not this one) won't recognize me, when I use a different nik.

I also will use a proxy to set up a differnt IP address.

I was going to suggest the same.

tools>internet options - general - delete cookies, browing history etc.

And get a good utility to remove the really nasty stuff as recommended above.
