Why does it say this............

I have just bought a HP notebook and when i stick a flashdrive into it, it won't read the flashdrive!! It says "please format disk" the flashdrive is FAT32 and works on my other computers.
Any idea's how to fix or solve this little problem??

Do other USB thingys work OK? If not, you may need to install the drivers, but Windows should have generic USB drivers built in.

Cheers. No, have tried a few and the same result. Also tried different USB ports... Is it back to the shop??

The laptop I inherited recently did the same thing, installed flash player and it came right.

I think so..... last time i checked it was still called Thung Song!! Why?? Have you experienced the great living in Thung Song??
