Duplicate Content & Multiple Site Issues

Duplicate Content & Multiple Site Issues

This is quite an interesting video for some, it's presented by Greg Grothaus of Google and he debunks the myth about google penalising websites for duplicated content, maybe time to steal lots of stuff

Here's a good example of duplicate content I done a few weeks ago, okay I admit it would and probably should be classed as spamming, but look closely at 7 out of the 10 results, see anything you recognise there
If you don't want to click the link just google "learn thai money"

Which is more important: content or links?

On February 26, 2009, Google software engineer Matt Cutts collected questions on Google Moderator and answered many of them on video.

Jeff from New York City asked:

As Google's algo evolves, is it better to have exceptional links and mediocre content, or exceptional content and mediocre links? By links I mean inbound link quantity/quality. Can new sites with awesome contest outrank mediocre/established sites?

How would you answer the question when you know that way too much importance is put on inbound links rather than content, when what you want is people to up the quality of the content rather than cheating and paying for some high ranking inbound links to mediocre content
