    Google banned in Thailand????????

I always use Google Thailand in English as my homepage on the computer.
This is what I have been getting for the last two days.

Sorry, the web site you are accessing has been closed by Royal Thai Police due to inappropriateness such as pornography, gambling or contain any information which is deemed to violate national security.

    Is Google banned or what????????????

I use the same and have done for years but for the past few days it has repeatedly "lost" my preferences and comes up in Thai language. I have to keep re-entering my prefs.

Anyone else got the same ?

I've always just used the Thai one, I can't read Thai but there's only one button you need to press.

Just checked and the English and Thai versions are working fine here.

Sounds like the same issue someone else was having with the ThaiVisa (I think??) website. Are you using True Internet by any chance? Apparently it was someting related to that.

Certainly no issues accessing here (CM).

    Yes.
As far as I know the cookie should only be accessable by myself and google.
So if I ain't deleting it then why is google ?

Good question. I've had it occur to me after I've deleted my own cookies and also other times apparently at random.

Coincidentally I was reading this earlier (I've no idea if it's actually relevant or the cause of the problem), it's interesting in that apparently Google periodically does 'resets': John Naughton: Google's worrying wizardry can make you invisible - Technology - NZ Herald News

Yes and I am not happy. The CAT stooges need to stop dicking with the buttons.

I could see Thailand banning websites that do not have .co.th at the end of them!!
