Well I stand corrected there then, however as far as I know only 2 people on this forum know me and my company.

My chosen tact is to endorse the comments made by others on this forum regarding DF's site and offer him a professional solution. If he doesn't get some form of help he will just keep getting into a bigger hole... even his paypal link falls over. If he chooses to ignore the advice and criticism from this thread and getting some form professional help, be it from my company or any other then I won't lose any sleep over it.

ahhh, he didn't request the critique, it was in the building a web site to win thread, it certainly didn't belong in that thread so was moved into this one, his coding is shite, his content is shite, his layout is shite, it really has no redeeming features at all

OK, Driving Force, I only looked at this because you posted it in the repo thread. I'm the LAST person who has any rights to critique websites.

However, in the beginning of this thread you were saying that the story would hook female (your buyers) interest. Wrong, in my case. It wouldn't have got me. I want to see a pic (or more than one) of the product, a description and possibly cross-section diagram of how/why it works, then the story of its inception can come.

Cute pics of your kids, but, again, the pic of the product should be as high or higher IMO. OK, maybe that's something you will do, once you have pics of the product, so fine.

The other thing I noticed is you said that if you googled 'maternity panties' it was at certain places on google etc. Do people only use certain phrases to google? I wouldn't use the word panties (I'm British, we don't say panties) and maybe I'd think pregnancy rather than maternity. Haven't tried it, but does googling 'pregnancy knickers' give you the same results? I got a white border down the right hand side in which I kept expecting something to load and the pic that was floating around was a bit disconcerting, esp the lettering under it which is very hard to read.

I liked the building blocks motifs, though & I think the colours were something that other women might like.

As I said, I know nowt about techie things, those were just my impressions as a woman. Good luck with the venture.
