Been having a massive pain trying to sign up for this as Thai cards simply don't seem to work, and they recently changed my UK account from the sandpit address to my current one, which fucked me using that as well.
On a whim I thought I'd search Lazada and would you believe it but you can get a year of YT Premium (and YT music) for Bt340 a year. You just buy it and they send you an email address and a password. I've had it about a week and it's all fine, so I assume they're using a legal card in a legal territory.

Youtube music for the car, no ads, doesn't shut off when you close the phone.

I think Premium Content is more Youtube TV and shit. Don't really know what's on it.

For some reason on my PCs youtube never has ads.

Those some reasons are of course uBlock and Adblock or whatever Chrome extensions they are.


Android devices... usually used for playing around, have half a dozen devices with half a dozen different accounts.... after starting a gym sesh and an Ad starting after the first song, just downloaded 'Clean tube' for youtube etc, and just listened to the entire Metallica Black album while banging out 6 gym sets and nary an ad was there.

^ Try Brave browser. I never get ads on YouTube when using Brave either on a PC or an Android device.

What are you trying to install it on?

It's a standalone app so I have no idea what you're talking about, unless your device doesn't have Google Play framework services.
