How fix Autoplay of embedded videos

    My main browser is Chrome

    I've read this

    https://www.groovypost.com/howto/dis...google-chrome/

I have managed to stop some but not all autoplay which often at high volume risks waking the dragon squatting in my nest !

Nearly all newspapers and many sites have ads etc , utube I've fixed but be handy if there was one extension/fix for whole web or is that too much to ask for , I've got uBLOCK which does a good job on banners and most ads but not the autoplay

    Is there a registry fix?

Is it any easier in Safari Opera Firefox or IE etc?

Also what software are DJPat and Dilly using to insert members into such funny/outrageous photo montages is it Photoshop or someother TOOL?

Have you tried turning in off and on again...

Beyond that high tech advice I got nuttin'

It is annoying though. I don't mind auto-play so much but why they all got to start at high volume??

Try this for a desktop device, David.

Enter the following in your browser: chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy

Then at the top of the page (Autoplay Policy), change from Default to User Activation required.

    Then restart your browser.
