I gotta get a dual monitor set up over the weekend.

I'll wanna setup Bluestacks so I can play android games on one monitor, while following real-time windows on the other monitor.


Questions are:

Can I run Windows on one (the primary) monitor, and run bluestacks on the other?

(presumably yes)


With Bluestacks can I set up and log into my Playstore account, like with my phone and tablet, so I can download the apps I've purchased on my phone (FMM 2018) and download them to use with bluestacks?

I've been tasked to do a comparison between having apple tv (which only fuckin' expensive ipads can "cast" to) vs. chromecast which supposedly anything can connect to at my school. The apple tv shite is installed, but sadly, the chromecast dongle thingy has been in my bag for a couple of days.

Android TV is a separate box,

Chromecast is a dongle that needs to be run from an external device, like a phone or a tablet

Some shit can't play on Android TV if the box is not powerful enough, while Chromecast with a powerful phone could play anything, depending on your specs

Plex can also do transcoding, basically transforming video codec to play on your device,

it's a lot of options for different movies format, and can be a pain to manage it all

DS Video is the best of all, but don't always play everything, and transcoding is very limited, unlike PLEX
