    IPTV and Internet

After the demise of Thai Expat tv I have been trying UKTV, i can not get it to work as well as the old one

I installed several years ago our own fiberoptic line with TOT, as we live in the sticks there are not many choices

Needless to say I keep complaining to TOT and get nowhere, I am meant to get 40mg download speed

Even if I stay away from HD the picture is freezing a lot

I am using a mag 256 box, latest technology

    looking for help and suggestions

For the last year, I've had Pulse TV. All the UK channels, plus a host of others including German, French, and Thai. Their servers are in Bangkok, so you're not going through an international gateway. Rarely is there a hick up, and the support (including on-line chat support during normal working hours) is good.

There is also a substantial library of movies and TV shows, including very recent ones, and you can watch any programme for up to 24 hours after it's aired.

Various options for signing up, I did the 1 year for 10,000 baht, which includes a free box for the TV. You can have up to 4 devices connected, including the box. I have it on my phone and computer, plus the box so one spare.

It's certainly been consistent, and I'll definitely be renewing my subscription next month.

Just checked out the link. On the 'FAQ' page there's this:

Are Netflix, Sky Sports or BT Sports included?

These paid services will require a separate subscription. Our service makes it work as if you are in the UK but for subscription channels you will still need to subscribe with them also.

So, not so good if you want live EPL and other sports of course.

    Flawless IPTV.

Register at https://flawless-hosting.co.uk/clientarea.php and you can buy it there, 75 quid a year, 95 if you want multiroom.

Everything you could ever need TV wise and a load of VOD as well.

Servers in BKK may well improve matters substantially

fortunately I only did a month with UK IPTV, prefer the annual bur first it needs to work

I have been trying out premiumiptv.net and hdprime.tv at the same time. The premium iptv has a pretty good interface but buffering problems. I got a magbox to try it on but still not too reliable. The hdprime is a messy interface but quite good reliability. They have servers in Europe and Thailand with best results through the Thai ones. It's about 380 baht a month for the basic package.

I spent a couple of hours at TOT technical location just out side KHonKaen this morning

finally they agreed despite the fact we have fibre optic dedicated line to our house 50 mg as soon as the connection moves outside Thailand the speed becomes unreliable

Within TOT this is well known

Their solution was to move to someone like BBB, that does not have the same problem outside Thailand

We live between two villages and despite there being a BBB box some !.5 kms from our house BBB say it will not work

TOT tell me the connection to a bigger village some 5 kms away from my house is very good

My solution is use TOT to this village then connect to another provider, does anyone know if this would work, agree I may have to pay two lots of monthly charges

I only have limited knowledge but believe with some providers like TOT as soon as connecting to servers outside thailand speed drops off BBB i believe is better

What other providers are people using

Am doing the free trial at the moment still not acceptable quality

I think the problem is my internet provider, I am hoping to switch to CAT fibre optic in the next week and then lets see what happens
