looks purty
and has the wipe clean keyboard

It looks good, and it's great to be able to choose either a Android or a Windows operating system.
I went for the Android, but use it as a research tool, so OneNote is my main app.
It really is a very good device.
Just sayin...
& cheap at $500. It blows the iPad pro away in my humble opinion...
We've got a couple of Lenovo Tablets for the kids and have a Yoga Tablet for home use for us ... but we got it a couple of years back, so not the fancy one the Goat meister has.
BB am just interested why did you choose Android over windows?
^ More goats per byte, maybe?...Onya, Boo...
This is a very thin device, low power CPU, large battery, so it's not really gonna compete with a larger workstation or even a high end laptop - so, I went with Android because the operating system is less demanding on the CPU.Originally Posted by Hugh Cow
It goes about 15 hours on a charge, or the entire week just using it here and there in coffee shops, etc. The screen/video and sound are also surprisingly good for such a device, but I mainly use it for reading, a bit of browsing and taking notes.
It's an ideal device for students, imho - you can fold it over then just write on the blank slate with the special pen or attach a piece of paper and write with a normal pen - all the notes are automatically saved...
Cycling should be banned!!!
and ultra HD goat porn?
Where do you teach. Games are where its at here. Other than ordered I have never seen a student here use a computer for academia.Originally Posted by Bettyboo
Looks nice Betty. I have been using an android Lenovo K3 Note for a year and a half. All good. Cheap as chips too.
asnt it Lenovo who issued all those PC's full of bloat and malware?
Dunno Dilli. I am running 2 Lenovo laptops. An X230 and an X200. Both updated to plain vanilla Win 10. Originally Win 7.

I've been using the Yoga Tab 3 10" for watching movies on the plane for a long time now.
Great battery life, and while it isn't the fastest tablet out there it's more than adequate for this purpose.
I'll probably upgrade it to the Plus as that's only 300 bucks and has better specs, an even longer battery life, plus 802.11ac Wifi.
Very reliable kit. Never had a problem with it.
Six months on, Betty, has your opinion changed of the Lenova Yoga Book?
I have one, lasted 5 months then would not start up, taking it back to Argos when I get home.
Have you tried plugging it in?

I has a similar thing to that but it was much cheaper. I think its called an exercise book.
^ & you can carry some textbooks and novels around too while I use the Kindle app.
Yeah, using it all the time; it's excellent, has been faultless, I have done zero updates and downloaded very little sw onto it - just Kindle and Onenote for research in coffeeshops - does eggsackery as I ask of it.Originally Posted by Neverna
