Can't sign in to Yahoo Mail

Been getting a problems for a while now. I try to sign in to Yahoo Mail. I enter my Email address. Underneath it says 'Next'. I press that and immediately up comes 'Network connection timed out. Please try again'. I try again and the page doesn't change. I've Googled but I can't find an answer.

Yahoo upped their security recently. If you haven't already, download the Yahoo mail app then retry.

Change your passwords immediately when you can but the more important question is - who still uses Yahoo??

Me. Anyway I think I sorted it. I have 'UBlock' add-on. I disabled it and then strangely I was allowed to log in. I did what you recommended Slick and changed my passwords. Thanks to all advice.

For science, after you changed your password, enable your AdBlock & try again. See if its still all jacked.

I had the same problem on My I pad, kept saying that it didn't recognise the devices URL, then it also mentioned that Yahoo had been sold.
Anyway used the laptop to log in and all is good.

In such circumstances.

1) change browsers and try again.

2) change device and try again.


Use CCleaner and update and run some anti-virus and anti-malware programs.

Malwarebytes and Superantispyware are okay.

I had the same problem too....I clicked on the forgot my password option....waited for the code to come through on my phone and once in ....I changed my password...all working fine now

Yahoo sucks, bad service, vulnerable to hacks. Dump it and use Gmail.

The big update they implemented about 2 years ago, and you couldn't go back to the previous version was a disaster.
