^ Good phone too..
Honestly, there is no definitive 'best phone', it depends on what you want/value in a phone.
Do you want unlimited customizable options, open software, hate the restrictions of iphone's closed ecosystem - or do you just want a phone that may not have the customizable options of Android, but its hardware works in perfect harmony with its efficient software?
Honestly mate, 95% of you guys would be fine with a mid-tier Android phone... I'm just a phone snob - been so disappointed with each sammy offering (hence my obvious push/bias towards iphone).
The guys above (Sg6/7 lovers) are right... their hardware shits all over apples on the spec sheets... but in 'real-world' usage, it's another story. Software of Android is poorly optimized (especially ram management/memory leaks)... hence the need for ridiculous amounts of ram - but they still lag. Even an old iphone 5s with 1 gig of ram, is smoother and more polished than any Android with quadruple the ram)
My main contention is resale value..
The iPhone holds its value better than an Android phone. If you sell your one-year-old or two-year-old Android smartphone, even a flagship device, you will often get much less than you paid.
When you sell an older iPhone, it is easy to find offers of almost double the value of an Android phone that came out at the same time. Yes, it's more expensive, but it's an asset that hold its value (like Toyota or Honda in Thailand)...
