    DNS flush

    Advice/opinions, please.
Last night, after nearly a year watching Netflix on an Australian account here in Thailand, no titles would load, with the message "turn off any proxies, vpns or unblockers"

    Running none of these.

Can access the website, just not open any movies.

Chat with online support. After over an hour, the guy say do a DNS flush.
I am not sure, but will that mean I have to sign in again to everything such as TD, FB, gmail etc?

    Cheers

BS answer from technical support, was probably clueless Harry on the other side of the phone in his Indian Call center reading his BS script

possible that Netflix is blocking your IP if there is a "country" restrictions for some TV shows

another possibility is a slow internet connection, some timeout issues

as for DNS, use 8.8.8.8 for the Google DNS cache, just in case your local ISP DNS cache is all fucked up, a possibility in Thailand

We just checked a second ago and everything is working perfectly.

    Try using another browser.

    Clear you cookies and cache.

Sacrifice a virgin to the Netflix gods.

If you think clearing the DNS cache will solve things, open a command prompt and enter the command:

    IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

But my guess is that it's probably 3BB fucking about again.

And no, this will not clear your credentials for anything, it just means that any sites you visit will have to do a DNS lookup again, and the results will be placed in the cache to speed things up next time. That's how it's meant to work.

Your best bet anyway, to get access to the full US Catalogue, is to get a VPN that works with Netflix.

Netflix is legal in Thailand you fucking mong Buttplug. They don't list content with "country restrictions", they just list the content for Thailand.

FFS stop talking bullshit. No-one is interested in your stupid fucking guesses.

retard, if you have a US account with Netflix, they might restrict your access to your US catalog.

Yes, listing for Thailand means country restrictions from other IP restricted content, you illiterate sand cock sucker twat.

    DNS Flush?

The best flush you could do is flush that Netflix down the shitter.
you can get all their content and all the region restricted stuff they ban you from having for free anyway.

The reason youre having all this shit is due to Netflix imposing bans on proxies and even the dns of fukkin smart tvs, which i had a cnut of a job resolving due to Samsung not communicating with them as they told me.

They keep sending me please come back emails now.

Kiss my half shitty arse Netflix.

You could unplug your router, count to 20 and plug it back in again and see what happens...

so you bought a box back from australia that had been configured with a DNS recurser/redirector which then allowed you to view content as if you were located in australia - now they have blocked it

    have a read - cause I can't be arsed
