    Free email services?

Any recommendations for a free email provider other than gmail?
I have a gmail account or two but google services are blocked here in China so it can be a pain in the butt sometimes even using a VPN.
    Cheers.

    Yandex, mail.com.
You don't need to set up phone numbers with those.

Mailinator, if you want a disposable email.

Hotmail (or whatever it is called) is fine. Used it for donkeys years, never a real problem.

Yeah, as all have mentioned here - both Yahoo and Hotmail [Outlook] are most acceptable of the majors players, Dug...

Knowing that there has been on-going rift between The Chinese and Google, I'd be curious to know it the same blockage included the Google Chinese page as well?

Send me the link and I'll tell you though I don't think they have a Chinese Page other than the translation of the standard Page which will of course be blocked. They closed their last office here last year and took out the foreign staff

    Did a quick investigation -
Apparently, The Chinese govt haven't quit Google completely....just a change of "locale" - based in Hong Kong.

Don't know if this is an officially recognized Google Chinese page, but....

    https://www.google.com.hk ??????

Yes, but HK is not China. Well kind of but in fact it's a different world.
The censoship that applies in the mainland doesn't apply in HK. (though they're chipping away).

If you have to sign up for something and where they send you an email to register I use 10 Minute Mail...saves you getting loads of Spam in your in box

    10 Minute Mail

and you can extended it for another 10 minutes if you wish !

Not much good if you need to use a 'Forget your password ' option on the site you signed up too though !!
