    smart tv.

    ok , i have an, anything but smart tv. 23k for a piece of shite. user unfrendly. never use the piece of shite.. read today, bangkok post, a 6k bt dongle thingy to convert it to a pc. dongle = intel compute stick. any ideas or feed back. cheers.

    You add THB 2,000 and you have the basic Intel NUC with all the needed ports available. IMO a much better choice.

    Just connect wifi box to tv with a Ethernet cable no dongle needed , did you buy an open browser smart tv ? .

    If you squint just right you will note in the OP he says the TV is not smart at all. One would assume in that case it is not an open browser smart TV nor will it accept an ethernet cable.

    One questions why...Do you actually NEED another PC?

    assume you want utilise your dumb TV as a monitor for a PC 'box' ...you will need keyboard and mouse also?
    Does it have USB or HDMI inputs?
    If not then spend your money on a cheap desktop and give the TV away..more trouble than it is worth methinks.
