Today's tip :
( in a series for anyone as bad on computers as I am)

Fed up with videos and adverts starting on their own and annoying / startling the fuck out of you ?
Here's how to stop them on your PC:

Chrome

Open a new tab and paste

chrome://chrome/settings/content

into the empty url search box - at the very top - and press enter.

Now scroll down to Plug-ins
and select Click to play
press done

You might need to restart chrome .

Internet Explorer

( never tried it this one )
Go to Tools, Safety and then click on the ActiveX Filtering option. This will then put a tick next to the option, indicating that filtering is enabled.
Firefox

you'll need a proper addon to stop it there

eg
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...on/flashblock/

Then the flash video thumbnail picture gets replaced with an f which you click to play the video.
