Old news Betty, Samsung has been manufacturing ARM type processors for Apple for many years, - ARM architecture (By British company - ARM Holdings) is in 95 % of all smartphone chips produced, Apples own ARM architecture based " Apple System on Chips" processors is developed and specified by Apple - and outsourced to Samsung for production.

Allegedly one of the reasons Apple is tired of Samsung, is Apple feeling that Samsung has used the inside knowledge they have gained by being a "rent a production company" to develop competing products.

The lawsuits is moving on, with Samsung trying to negotiate a court rebate on the 1,5 billion they have been ordered to pay Apple in compensation for patent infringements, recently a Judge refused to add the Samsung s4 to the case, so Apple lawyers have said they will make a new lawsuit on that one alone.

Obviously it must be a complicated situation for both Samsung and Apple, on one hand cooperating, and the other making lawsuits.

Anyway BettyB - don't quite know why you think I especially care, maybe because I have dared to mention some factual falsehoods in the obsessive anti Apple crusades on other threads?

But again, I am not an Apple die hard fan, I do own some good Apple products yes, just as I own Samsung, Nokia, Acer and other tech brands.

Nothing wrong with debating the pro's and con's of different products, as long as it is reasonable sensible and factual, and not.. agitated compulsory false and opinionated rubbish, wasting readers time, and making some posters look like they are several sandwiches short of a full lunch.

No one asks me who made the bolts holding the cutting blade on my lawnmower, or the brand of said mower, neither do they ask for the name of my gardener, they just say what a nice Garden you have.

Because nobody claimed it was innovation or technically superior!

Lars, Lars, Lars, Lars, Lars... I know the Danes have a great history, from Beowolf to Hans C A, of storytelling and imaginative thinking - factual recreation if you will..., but our American friends at iApple, whilst they have done great things in the past, are using Sony Technology and Sony cameras, British technology via Samsung manufacturing for their processors, screens by (I'd guess Samsung again...), and sound by (non-iApple), everything by non-iApple. Nice design increments though.

Remember, just like all good stories, keep the audience wanting, less is more ($$$$$).

    Lusting after the new iPhone

    This article makes me crindge!

Editor's note: Dean Obeidallah, a former attorney, is a political comedian and frequent commentator on various TV networks including CNN. He is the co-director of the new comedy documentary "The Muslims Are Coming!" which was released this month. Follow him on Twitter @deanofcomedy.

(CNN) -- I'm going to be honest: I didn't expect to get excited over the new iPhone 5S.

In fact, just last summer I wrote about how I had fallen out of love with my iPhone.

I spoke of the thrill being gone. And even though I knew it wasn't the fault of the iPhone, but iDean, it didn't make it any better.

I was clearly taking my iPhone for granted. In fact, I found myself checking out other phones -- sneaking a glimpse at my best friend's Samsung Galaxy. I even would Google images of the new BlackBerry when I was home alone.
