    laptop v pad usage

    hey guys, a serious question
time to upgrade my laptop, 6 years old and still on XP
the big question seems to be upgrade to what?
usage must play a part in deciding, and i do use my lap top a lot
download at least 2 to 3 torrents per day, and watch said torrents, check e mail, Facebook, teak door, that other forum, play a few hands of Texas holding, play a little golf on line and sometimes stream live sports such as golf, or the ashes or a special game, this is a standard day for me, so the question is, will a pad keep up with that usage or am i better upgrading my laptop
    thoughts welcome

I have both and have to confess to always going back to the laptop. I find these smart phones irritating. The 10 inch Samsung is used to play music for our daughter at bedtime and the occasional series when the TV is displaying Thai "don't think too much" dramas!

Have a desktop at work and can do everything else I need by phone or pad, I bought touch dual screen laptop about the time i bought the pad and it that hasn't been out its case for over six months, just can be bothered carrying it or un packing it.
Also get a wifi hard drive for your pad, makes it easy to transfer files and stuff, store shit loads of music and movies with out loading up the pad.

I'm not too sure if you can play that WGT game on a tab, you will need a tab with flash to have a chance of playing it on there, so that rules out the iPad.

But a tab will do every thing else that you do robbo. that's quite light usage really

Forget that Ive just seen IOS have their own WGT app which Android doesnt have, although it does say Lite version

    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wgt-...518190150?mt=8

I hate that overpriced and restricted i-Shit though.

I'd say just buy a new budget laptop or get an android tab and play your golf on your old laptop
