Samsung Galaxy Note II or Samsung Galaxy 8?

Missus wants to buy one? 5inch screen or 8inch? I'm tending towards the bigger screen but I don't really know anything about it.

Not for a phone, she already has several of those.

She's in marketing so thinks that it would be useful for showing small movies or powerpoints to several clients, the odd graphs and presentation to her team or to her bosses.

Thoughts ?

I am never impressed by marketing and sales people fiddling about with a ipad etc showing some crap just to show me they have an ipad. Get the bigger screen; better for games and pictures.

I have the 10"Tab happy with it, I use for Skype back to Aus you can walk around with. it all good

yes there is a 10 inch note

but the 8 inch note might be more what she wants

and not forgetting a MHL adapter to put your screen onto the big telly via HDMI - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 MHL HDMI adapter

though in my experience it always needs an external USB power source too - but they are very common

Girlfriend uses a Note II (sometimes uses Galaxy S3) and enjoys it.

Battery maybe 8 hours? She’s not sure, depends.

Buy her the big one willy, those tarts in marketing go for the biggest one, the posuer value is worth it for the wanna be's, make her a happy girl.

for battery life , all you do is carry a battery pack in your backpack - useful as it can charge many devices

She's in and out of the office all day long, so battery life shouldn't be an issue. A spare battery pack in the purse for emergencies.

I think we'll buy the bigger one, but she's pissed with me cos she wanted to buy it tonight but I already explained that Friday Night Footy takes precedence!
