I'm still struggling with my new Android. This time it's with the keys. The @ is on the 2 key as normal, but when I press shift & 2 I get " instead of @. Also when I press shift and number symbol on key 3 I get £. I can't find the number symbol. Help required please as I'm must be doing something wrong.

Your Keyboard setting is set to UK. Not sure which machine you have so can't say how to fix it properly...but @ and " are reversed and # is / to the right of ".
That should get you by for now....

Sorry I should have said, the keyboard came from USA and is attached to an Asus eee pad transformer TF101.

I Googled and found my info. Thank you Troy for pointing me in the right direction.
