Can anyone give me a step by step on how to download from Youtube and then be able to copy to DVD? I want to get all the Magic English videos. Thanks for any help you can supply.

Any one of the result on the first page give you free and easy to use software with step by step instructions.
Perhaps if you were to be a bit more specific and list your downloader preference, dvd hardware brand, blank dvd brand and burning software someone could write a more comprehensive instruction list for you, or perhaps pop around and do it for you.

For downloading from youtube use:

YTD - YouTube Downloader.

No BS with it, it does exactly what it does on the tin.

YTD Video Downloader - CNET Download.com

You only have to copy the url of the youtube vid, then open YTD, it will automatically list the url, you just click 'download'.

You can do multiple vids at a time, and it also downloads porn vids from xhamster.


For burning onto a DVD, probably something like Nero, I don't burn DVD's so someone who knows more than me will be along soon with the info for that.

Another good little bit of kit for Windows systems is the Freerecorder toolbar .

as it suggests its free to ,, it will also give you free radio stations , and the ability to record anything running on your pc.

I'm sure you don't need help to burn a dvd ,, even in Windows its as easy as following just the screen menu , just make sure the discs you buy are compatible with the drive in your pc

I've got about 50 gigs of music vids and live gigs etc. that I've downloaded from there.

Cheers for that CM I got it and it works a treat BUT the catch is you have to pay to convert the files ,, do you know of a free file converter ?

Nope. I never convert files so wouldn't know the first thing about it.

Necron, So sorry but I just took your reply as a snide remark and didn't even bother clicking on what you wrote.

1) I know I need software

2) I know how to use a DVD burner

3) if I didn't have a DVD burner, I would hardly be asking how to get to that point.

I did do my own search on the net and all I came up with was ways to DL it and then have to convert it and then having to join whatever place to do just that.

Sorry for the RED but I'll green you whenever I can again and again for your trouble.

The only downside with running Firefox, is that your limited to their directives.
